Webdesk: The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Monday that at least three people died and 28 others hurt in the latest act of violence by Israeli forces in Jenin. The international community worried about the conflict getting worse and worse.
During the raid, troops fired at armed people, hitting a few of them.
A big number of Israeli troops said to have taken part in the raid, which started around 4 a.m. local time.
Heavy gunfire reported by the media all morning, and as of 8:40am, a spokesperson from the media confirmed that fighting still going on.
On social media, people shared videos of an explosion that destroyed an armoured car and shots fired. As well as an Israeli army helicopter firing missiles at the town.
Palestinian leaders have criticised the raid and called for “an end to Israeli aggression in the West Bank.”
Violence in the region has been getting worse and worse, which has worried people around the world. The United Nations has called for an instant end to the rising tensions.
The event is the latest in a long line of violent fights between Israeli-occupied forces and Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Israeli forces keep hurting innocent Palestinians, so Israeli-occupied forces keep getting into fights with them.
Witnesses say that at least one Palestinian citizen was taken into custody during the raid on Monday.
Since the beginning of the year, Israeli troops have killed at least 161 Palestinians and hurt many more, including children.
