WEBDESK: A former Royal cook says that Queen Elizabeth II had a strange way of eating pears.
Her Majesty, known for her good manners, ate the fruit like a boiled egg.
“She eats her pears like boiled eggs,” Chef Darren McGrady says. He said to have said, “She’ll cut off the top and use a spoon to get the insides out.”
“You can’t eat like a monkey at Buckingham Palace,” Mr. McGrady said.
Queen Elizabeth II also known for her quick mind and sense of humour.
She asked her nephew Viscount Linley to look for his mother and Princess Margaret, who is the sister of Her Majesty. “When he tried to avoid her repeatedly,” the singer wrote, “the Queen lightly slapped him across the face and told him, ‘Don’t.'” SLAP for “argue,” SLAP for “with,” SLAP for “me.” – SLAP – ‘I’ – SLAP – ‘am’ – SLAP – ‘THE QUEEN!’ As he was leaving, she saw me looking at her, winked, and walked away.
Her Majesty died at Balmoral Castle when she was 96 years old. She had been queen of Britain for 70 years.
