Webdesk: Shefali Jariwala experienced epileptic episodes at the age of fifteen. She struggled with low self-esteem and has come a long way as an ambitious computer specialist and actress.
She added when discussing it “I had my first seizure at age 15, and for the next ten years, life with epilepsy was difficult. Mood and anxiety problems negatively impacted academic and social functioning. At that age, it was impossible to communicate thoughts of hopelessness and helplessness.”
She continued, “I had such a terrible sense of self-worth. But as I grew older, I faced additional obstacles. The anxiety of having a seizure at an inopportune moment and place was always there in my mind, particularly after Kaanta Laga, when I was filming, playing on stage, and traveling so frequently.”
In conclusion, “Medications, a solid support system, and positive lifestyle adjustments have assisted me in putting the past behind me. Now, I’ve been seizure-free for fifteen years. Having conquered epilepsy has made me mentally and physically stronger, and I am now living my best life.”
