ISLAMABAD: According to local media, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s mansion in Zaman Park was where the plan to attack state and military installations was hatched on May 8.
According to records, Imran Khan and top party leadership maintained touch with the assailants and six other Zaman Park figures.
Zaman Park and Jinnah House vandalism saw 158 cell phone numbers contacted on May 8.
While, Yasmin Rashid, Hammad Azhar, and Mehmoodur Rasheed, prominent PTI leaders, maintained contact with May 9 rioters, according to the data. Ijaz Chaudhry, Aslam Iqbal, and Murad Raas maintained touch with demonstrators.
Moreover, On D-day, Azhar’s phone made 10 calls to the miscreants, Yasmin 41, and Rasheed 75.
Moreover, Chaudhry made 50 calls, Saleem Iqbal 16, and Murad Raas 23 to Jinnah House vandals.
The army called May 9 “Black Day”. Because PTI supporters assaulted military buildings like the GHQ and Jinnah House to protest former prime minister Imran Khan’s detention. The party denies vandalism.
