Webdesk: Most of the singers who were asked to perform at the King Charles Coronation event didn’t show up.
Due to different views on the monarchy and the rise of ‘woke’ fans, stars like Harry Styles turned down the King.
Ryan-Mark tells Express.co.uk in a conversation with Ben Ofoedu: “A lot of celebrities, like Harry Styles and a few others, were probably asked to perform at the event, but they might have turned it down because they listened to their “woke” fans, who are all about 13 years old and hate the king because they think it’s cool to do so.
“There was also a TikTok trend about the king.”
He said, “It’s the same as what Ben said. It’s a sign of the times we live in.
“If you’re from the UK, you can’t be proud of where you come from.
“You can’t wear the flag because it’s associated with colonialism, fascism, and jingoism. I think that’s a very sad thing,” he says.
The TV star, on the other hand, told the singers to get “backbone” and support the British queen.
Ryan-Mark also said, “I’m just sick of it. People don’t talk about it enough because they don’t want to be fired, they want to keep their jobs. They don’t want to be attacked by trolls online, but they need to toughen up.”
