Webdesk: Aditya Roy Kapur has finally said if his success was helped by his family.
In the entertainment business, many stars have been accused of favouritism, and Aditya is no different. He is the brother of the well-known Bollywood director Siddharth Roy Kapur.
In a speech, he made it clear that none of his brothers had helped him get to where he is now. They didn’t help him get into films.
The star from The Night Manager talked about it at Filmfare. He said, “I think people know that I have kind of made my way into the business.” I started out with small parts in films where neither of my brothers was involved.”
News 18 says that Aditya says his job progress has been public because people have been able to watch it grow over time.
“My life has been open to the public. People saw how slowly my job grew. Before I got my first role as the main character, I had already played three minor roles. So, I think everyone can see that journey.”
The 37-year-old actor made his first movie, London Dreams, in 2009. In 2013, he got a little bit of attention with Aashiqui 2. But after the new Disney+Hotstar show The Night Manager came out, he became more well-known.
Aditya Roy Kapur is now set to play with Sara Ali Khan in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino.
