Webdesk: Jamie Foxx says in his first statement since his health scare last month that he feels lucky.
The actor from Django Unchained said to have had a medical emergency on the set of the Netflix comedy Back in Action, which filmed in Atlanta.
Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, told the world on April 12, 2023, that her father was in the hospital. “We wanted to let you know that my dad, Jamie Foxx, had a medical problem yesterday,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
“Thanks to quick action and good care, he’s already on the way to getting better. We know how much he loved and thank you for your prayers. During this time, the family asks for privacy.” No more information has been given.
Now, the actor who won an Oscar thanked his friends and family for their love and well wishes.
“Thank you for all the love!!! “Feeling blessed,” Foxx actor wrote on Instagram with a prayer hands, heart, and fox emoji.
In the comments about the actor’s recovery, a lot of his friends and famous people said how happy and relieved.
Courteney Cox, who plays Rachel on Friends, posted prayer hands with a heart. John Legend posted a bunch of prayer hands, and Vin Diesel also posted one.
Jeremy Renner also sent his best wishes: “Sending you strength and love [heart emoji].”
“Jamie, you are the best. Please get better quickly. “[Heart emoji] You are a blessing to this world, and we need you here,” Ansel Elgort wrote.
In addition to the post on his Instagram feed, Foxx also put up an Instagram story in which he thanked Nick Cannon for being a guest host on the Fox game show Beat Shazam.
Also, the actor’s daughter, Corinne, is a DJ on the show, but Variety says that Kelly Osbourne is filling in for her while Foxx continues to heal.
