Lahore: A PIA flight to Canada had to turn around and go back to Pakistan. It was because of a problem with the hydraulics.
The plane, which on route PK-797, flying over Russia when a problem with the hydraulic system found.
The flight supposed to leave Lahore for Toronto on the night between Sunday and Monday. But its called back from Russian airspace and had to go back to Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Flight tracking data showed that the Boeing 777-240(LR) plane left Lahore at 4:30 a.m. on Monday and arrived at 1:30 p.m. at the same airport.
A spokesman for PIA said that since the plane’s repair would take longer than expected, the people on this flight would sent to Toronto on a different trip.
The PIA representative said that experts would check the plane and fix the problem.
The official said that the Boeing 777 made a normal landing at Lahore airport when it got back.
