Webdesk: Akshay Kumar had stated that the film industry requires reorganisation, and his interview is reviving as Priyanka Chopra introduces her experience in Bollywood.
During his talk to the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit, he addressed all of the issues that have plagued Indian cinema over the years. He stated, “From my perspective, the situation has changed. Audience desires something distinct. This is what we should consider, thus we should attempt to give them this. We are responsible, not the audience, for their absence. We must provide them with what they desire. This is what we must reconsider.”
He said, “We must demolish what we have constructed and start over.” Consider what type of film they would like to watch. I wish to begin in an entirely new manner. And I have begun doing the same thing. What has occurred throughout the pandemic is a fast change in their options.”
Then, finishing his statement with alternative answers, he stated, “There are so many more things that must be done, not just by the players, but also by the producers and theatres. I would like to reduce my prices by 30-40 percent. The theatre industry needs to recognise that it is currently a period of recession. The audience has a restricted budget for entertainment expenses. You cannot continue to spend so much on it. Everything must be altered.”
In addition, he stated, “And it’s not just the theatres. We must address the cost of me and the production of the film. Everything must be dealt with.”
