In a major diplomatic development, Pakistan and Bangladesh have resumed bilateral Foreign Office Consultations (F.O.C) after a gap of 15 years.
The high-level meeting is taking place in Dhaka, where both countries’ foreign secretaries are leading their delegations. Pakistan’s delegation is being led by Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, who arrived in Dhaka a day earlier.
The talks will focus on regional issues, mutual interests, and strengthening bilateral cooperation. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is also expected to visit Dhaka later this month.
