LAHORE: ATC in Lahore granted police 3 days of physical remand of PTI leader Yasmin Rashid. It is for the May 9 Jinnah House vandalism.
Despite the Lahore High Court (LHC) judgement to postpone the detention of PTI workers, including Yasmin, under Section 3 of Maintenance of Public judgement (MPO), the Lahore police arrested her on May 17.
The ATC court remanded the PTI leader in police prison on physical remand today after reserving a judgement on her bail appeal.
She accused of speaking out against institutions during the May 9 violent protests following Imran Khan’s imprisonment in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The ATC judge ordered the police to bring the PTI leader on May 25.
According to authorities, Rashid arrested at Services Hospital for three cases.
Her terrorist and other allegations filed at Sarwar Road, Gulberg, and Shadman police stations.
Rashid hospitalised owing to declining health. Model Town officers arrested her. Dr. Rashid is in police custody at the hospital due to her illness.
PTI supporters and employees allegedly ransacked Jinnah House and GHQ in Rawalpindi during the nearly three-day nationwide rallies.
