Lahore: On Saturday, an anti-terrorist court in LAHORE granted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan temporary release in three terrorism cases brought against him.
The former prime minister appeared in court to obtain bail in three cases. That includes the murder of Zille Shah, arson, and interference with state affairs.
The PTI’s leader charged at the Race Course police station under anti-terror and aiding and abetting statutes.
The Lahore High Court (LHC) granted Khan protective bail in the same cases last week. The LHC urged the former prime minister to visit the appropriate court in this matter.
In his appeal for interim bail, the former prime minister stated that he wants to participate in the investigation. But afraid of arrested by the police.
At the hearing, the judge ordered the former prime minister to participate in the investigation and to attend all future hearings.
Khan was given bail in three counts till April 24 in exchange for Rs100,000 in surety bonds per case.
