That follows seven casualties on Thursday. That includes an American contractor and five U.S. forces and another contractor wounded by an Iranian drone.
According to two local reports, U.S. rockets hit fresh eastern Syria districts on Friday without injuries. Late Friday, pro-Iranian forces in Syria declared they have a “long arm” to respond to U.S. strikes.
As Washington and Tehran struggle to resurrect a 2015 nuclear deal and Moscow uses Iranian drones against Ukraine. The bloodshed might worsen relations.

“Make no mistake: the United States does not… desire conflict with Iran,” Biden told reporters in Canada.
“We’re not going to stop,” Biden said when asked if Iran should pay more.
Afterward, The Pentagon says U.S. F-15 warplanes bombed two Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-affiliated installations on Thursday (IRGC).
Moreover, U.S. strikes killed eight pro-Iranian fighters, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The toll was unconfirmed by Reuters.
Press TV reported no Iranian deaths and described local sources as stating the target was a rural development centre and a grain centre near a military airfield, not an Iran-aligned military installation.
