Webdesk: Angelo Gabriel, a talented Brazilian winger who played for Santos, has been officially signed by Chelsea Football Club.
The big Premier League teams announced the deal on Sunday, but they didn’t say how much it was worth. British news sites, on the other hand, say that Chelsea paid a big fee of 15 million euros ($16.84 million) to get the 18-year-old player.
Angelo Gabriel is moving to Chelsea after a successful time at Santos, where he played in 129 games in different leagues. During his time with the Brazilian team, he showed off his skills by scoring five goals and setting up ten others.
In 2020, just 15 years and 308 days old, the young winger made history by becoming the youngest player to ever play in Brazil’s top league. This record used to belong to the famous football player Pele. Gabriel also made history when he scored the first goal by a player under the age of 20 in the Copa Libertadores.
