Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz asked the CIE to change its grading method for this year a day earlier. She said that there had never been so much political trouble.
The head of the PML-N worried about the unexpected results. He said, “It looks like the grading this year led to unfair results, which has caused a lot of trouble and anxiety among the students.” Instead of getting As, they got Cs and Es.”
“Hundreds of people have told us they don’t like how the CIE graded them this year,” the PML-N leader said.
She talked about how bad things were for the students and said, “These students have worked very hard. Their university offers and future careers depend on how CIE uses its discretion.”
Maryam said that it would be a good thing if the CIE looked at their grading method for this year to make sure it was fair.
She also said that the CIE should think about the fact that Pakistani students took their tests during a time of unusual political chaos, when their safety and security were at risk.
The head of the PML-N wrote, “Congratulations to all the students who didn’t give up and still did their best.”
