Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi is set to leave for China this Sunday on a significant five-day official visit. During the visit, he will represent Pakistan at an international judicial conference.
Sources confirm that Justices Amin-ud-Din Khan and Shahid Waheed will accompany him as part of the judicial delegation.
The visit aims to discuss legal reforms, judicial cooperation, and strengthening bilateral ties between the legal systems of both countries.
Meanwhile, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is expected to take oath as the acting Chief Justice on April 21 in the absence of the CJP. The delegation is scheduled to return by the following Sunday.
