In a stunning revelation, Indian Army officer Colonel Amit Kumar has accused senior military officials of misconduct involving his wife. The colonel claims that during an official family stay, his wife was subjected to mistreatment by high-ranking army officers, including brigadiers and generals.
According to FIR No. 33/2024, names of senior personnel were listed, but all were allegedly given a clean chit. Colonel Kumar asserts that the investigation was handled by the very individuals accused, raising serious concerns about transparency and justice within the armed forces.
He further alleged that false messages were circulated to discredit his wife and mislead the public. Despite video evidence and repeated demands, no medical reports have been released by the hospital involved.
Colonel Kumar’s voice adds to growing concerns over institutional silencing of victims, especially within hierarchical power structures like the military. His question remains: “Are generals above the law?”
