Webdesk: Andy Muschietti stated the film’s sequel would cast Ezra Miller as The Flash.
The director told Discourse, “If [a sequel] happens, yes,” adding, “I don’t think there’s anyone that can play that character as well as they did. They did a terrific job with this persona.”
“And, as you said, the two Barrys—it feels like a character that made for them,” the filmmaker continued.
Moreover, Producer Barbara Muschietti added, “In principal photography, Ezra was brilliant and the most committed and the most professional [actor]. Ezra offered all for this role—physically, creatively, emotionally. They ruled.”
Afterward, Miller apologised and sought mental health treatment in August.
