Webdesk: According to a source, Republican North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum is planning to challenge former President Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.
The source said Burgum will announce his campaign on June 7 in Fargo, North Dakota’s capital. The governor’s administration declined comment.

According to May 9–15 Reuters/Ipsos polls, 49% of Republicans support Trump, while 19% prefer Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Mike Pence received 5% and Nikki Haley 4%.
