Webdesk: Chris Hemsworth’s “badass” performance in Extraction 2 has been praised, and so has the 21-minute-long single-shot action scene in the Netflix movie.
The movie, which came out on Friday, is a straight sequel to the 2020 action thriller. It has gotten a lot of good reviews, and many people say it’s better than the first one.
In the Netflix hit, Chris Hemsworth plays Tyler Rake, who “barely survived his grievous wounds from his mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh” and joins his team for their next operation.
Fans praised the movie and Hemsworth all over Twitter. One fan said, “Man, #Extraction2 is crazy; it’s like a video game come to life. Hemsworth hitting people while his hands were on fire is one of the best ways to spend your time. The train scene was also very cool.”
Someone else wrote, “I’ve just ended Extraction 2. Wow, what a film! Crazy thing to do. “It’s a great idea.”
People especially liked the 21-minute fight scene with Hemsworth that took place in a single shot.
One fan said on Twitter, “It beats its predecessor with its nonstop action, better story, and 21-minute one-shot sequence that really blew me away.”
“Hemsworth is a badass, and Hargraves is a good director. The movie has more power, more action, and more crazy…It was great!”
Another tweet said, “This was a lot of fun. I liked the first one just fine, but this one was much better in every way.”
“That 21-minute scene with only one shot was insane. I don’t know how they managed to do that. Hemsworth is really cool. On to the next! #Extraction2.”
In addition to Chris Hemsworth, Olga Kurylenko, Idris Elba, Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, and Daniel Bernhardt are all in the cast of Extraction 2.
