LAHORE: FIRs lodged against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, his party leaders, and workers. FIRs stated that accused damaged government property,. After rioting broke out when law enforcement tried to enter his mansion in Lahore’s Zaman Park for his arrest.

Charges include Burning government property, terrorism, attempted murder, and others.
The FIR against Khan at Lahore’s Race Course PS alleges that the PTI head incited the violent rioting.
According to the Complaint, Khan and party leaders ordered PTI workers to attack the police with batons, bricks, stones, and petrol bombs, injuring Islamabad police constable inspector-general of operations Shehzad Bukhari.
The PTI workers became increasingly rowdy and screamed slogans against their leader’s arrest.
Moreover, The FIR said they threw stones and petrol-filled bottles, destroying and burning police vans, water cannons, and bowser trucks and injuring workers.

Moreover, FIR against Khan contains Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) Sections 109 , 120B (criminal conspiracy); 147 (rioting); 148 (rioting, armed with deadly weapon); 149 (every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object); 172 (absconding to avoid service of summons or other proceeding); and (PPC).
The former premier has also been booked under Sections 174 (non-attendance in obedience to an order from public servant); 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions); 212 (harbouring offender); 290 (punishment for public nuisance in cases not otherwise provided for); 291 (continuance of nuisance after injunction to discontinue); and 324 ( (attempt to commit qatl-i-amd).

A day earlier, PTI supporters and law enforcement fought for a second day near Khan’s Zaman Park home as the Toshakhana case operation resumed.
Background
This was the second time in recent weeks that Islamabad police served an arrest warrant at the ousted premier’s residence in Punjab’s provincial capital after he skipped several court sessions citing security concerns.
During a Pakistan Super League (PSL) playoff match between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium, police authorities declared a temporary halt to their operation and left Zaman Park.
“Police will not approach on Khan’s residence till the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 8 cricket match is done,” police sources said.
Once the police left, the PTI head left his home in a mask to urge party members.
