In a significant development, three former Mossad chiefs and over 250 ex-officials have called on the Israeli government to end the war in Gaza and secure the safe return of hostages.
The statement, led by former negotiator David Meidan, carries the signatures of ex-Mossad heads Danny Yatom, Efraim Halevy, and Tamir Pardo. The group fully backed the Israeli Air Force’s earlier demand for halting military operations to protect hostages and soldiers.
They warned that the current war endangers not only hostages but also Israeli troops, urging the government to prioritize national interest over continued conflict.
Previously, over 1,000 Israeli Air Force reservists, 250 Unit 8200 veterans, and more than 150 Navy personnel had issued similar calls, criticizing the war as being driven by personal and political motives.
