Karachi: Preparations for Hajj Operation 2025 have been completed, and the first Hajj flight will depart from Jinnah Terminal Airport on April 29, operated by a private Pakistani airline.
Deputy Director of Hajj, Gulzar Somro, stated that the first Hajj flight for 2025 will depart from Jinnah Terminal Karachi on April 29 at 10:15 PM. This flight, operated by the private airline Serene Air (Flight ER 1611), will directly fly to Madinah, carrying 285 Hajj pilgrims to the holy land.
He also mentioned that the second Hajj flight from Karachi will be operated by the private airline Airblue. This flight, PA 1766, will depart on April 30 at 3:40 AM, carrying 148 Hajj pilgrims.
Gulzar Somro further added that the first Saudi Airlines flight (SV 3701) will depart from Karachi on May 1 at 9:15 AM with 365 pilgrims, while the first Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight (PK 743) will depart on May 2 at 5:55 AM, carrying 393 Hajj pilgrims to Madinah.
He said that during the pre-Hajj operations, all initial flights will land at Madinah Airport. However, from May 14 onwards, most of the Hajj flights will be heading to Jeddah, with a few still departing for Madinah.
The Deputy Director of Hajj confirmed that the Karachi Hajj Directorate and relevant authorities are fully prepared for the honorable and dignified departure of the pilgrims and are committed to ensuring the provision of all possible facilities.
