Webdesk: Veena Malik, a renowned performer and television personality, revealed in a recent interview for local news that she had difficulty opening up to others. The Bigg Boss 4 star explains when she does feel at ease while seated opposite the host.
Malik started, “I’ve been a part of the major industry, both across the border and here, for a very very long period, yet I have no media buddies. I do not have the type of friendship with everyone in which we text, talk, or hang out together. I consider myself to be pretty bashful. If you advise me to eat outside and there is a lot of attention or something, I cannot eat. My meal doesn’t digest.”
“Furthermore, I’m an introvert. “Without a camera, it’s tough for me to open up to people,” she remarked with a giggle. “I believe [the] camera is something around me with which I feel very, extremely at peace – with which I feel the urge to express myself as an artist. Yet, if anybody desires to know me personally, it is nearly impossible. I had only one best buddy in school, and it took three to four years for us to get close.
Malik has managed to establish herself as a major presence in the entertainment business despite the controversy around her. Her supporters admire her courage and outspokenness, whilst her enemies criticise her provocative behaviour. Yet, there is no doubting that Malik is a formidable force in the entertainment industry.
