Lahore: Imran Khan said he is relishing the struggle against the coalition government led by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. This claim came from his side despite the ongoing crackdown on PTI workers and leaders (PML-N).
Imran said he enjoys fighting the government in a Vice News interview. “Yes… because I think if I woke up and there was no challenge. I would think it’s the end of my life,” he remarked.
Imran Khan has led a long-running anti-government campaign. But, he stated that he is just concerned with lifting the country out of this quagmire and will never leave this movement.
Imran said that his anti-government movement’s goal is to educate people about their genuine freedom and rights. Throughout his 26 years of politics, this is the first time he believes people want actual freedom.
Imran Khan was attacked in Wazirabad last year. He claimed that the three people he knew were behind the attack are still in authority, making assassination much more likely. Imran said that those who plotted his assassination, more scared today because they know his party will win the elections.
In recent weeks, numerous PTI workers and leaders have been arrested. The opposition alleges the administration is trying to silence them and keep power. The administration denies these claims and says it is prosecuting lawbreakers.
