India’s hostile actions in Kashmir pose an ongoing threat to regional security: Pakistan’s Military

Islamabad: Pakistan’s military condemned New Delhi for its hostile acts, calling them a threat to regional security. It is as Kashmiris around the world observe Youm-e-Istehsal to protest India’s atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJK),

“Such actions coupled with the Modi-led administration’s belligerent rhetoric and hostile actions continue to perpetuate humanitarian and security crises in IIOJ&K and pose a perpetual threat to regional security,” ISPR said Saturday, criticising India’s August 5 revocation of Article 370.

While, Kashmiris internationally resented New Delhi’s abolition of Article 370, which removed the valley’s special status. India’s military blockade and loss of autonomy sparked international outrage.

Moreover, The ISPR said that the chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCsSC), services chiefs, and Pakistan armed forces supported the brave and resilient people of IIOJK in their just quest for UN-recognized self-determination.

“Continuation of inhumane military lockdown, illegal measures to change the demographic structure of the occupied territory and gross and systematic transgressions of human rights are all manifest violations of international law,” the statement added.

Moreover, The military argued that UN Resolutions and Kashmiri aspirations must met to ensure regional peace and stability.

“Pakistan Armed Forces pay rich tribute to the martyrs of IIOJK for their supreme sacrifices, and affirm full support of Pakistan for provision of political, moral and humanitarian support to Kashmiris in their just struggle against tyranny and illegal subjugation,” the ISPR stated.

After the ordinance revoked, India’s human rights atrocities against innocent Kashmiris have worsened, with curfews and illegal property seizures threatening the valley’s people.
