Gaza, Beirut, Sanaa, Washington (International News): On the night of Jumu’atul-Wida, Israeli forces continued their relentless bombing campaign on Gaza. In the past 24 hours, airstrikes by F-16 fighter jets and drone attacks claimed the lives of at least 50 Palestinians, including women and children.
According to international media reports, Israeli forces targeted several areas in southern Gaza over the past 24 hours. Israeli tanks shelled refugee camps in Rafah and Khan Younis, while airstrikes targeted northern Gaza, including residential buildings and a food distribution center. Among the martyrs were a mother and her son, while many of the wounded remain in critical condition.
The bombardment marks the 12th consecutive day of Israeli aggression following a brief ceasefire. The United Nations has warned that 80% of humanitarian aid operations in Gaza have been suspended, and food and medical supplies are running dangerously low, raising fears of a major humanitarian crisis. In response, the United Nations Security Council has called an emergency meeting at the request of Britain and France.
Meanwhile, Muslims worldwide observed “Youm Al-Quds” on Jumu’atul-Wida in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Protest rallies were held across Pakistan and other Muslim countries. In Israel, thousands gathered outside the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Additionally, a crackdown against pro-Palestinian foreign students has intensified in American universities.
