Kate, whos married to Prince William and often goes to the world-famous tennis tournament, had a medical emergency that caused her to leave her favourite game quickly.
The Princess of Wales going to see British star Dan Evans perform at the court in 2021, but she found out she in touch with someone who had tested positive for Covid-19.
People told Kate, who then the Duchess of Cambridge, that she had talked to someone with Covid-19. This meant that the Princess had to hurry home to Kensington Palace to stay in lockdown.
The mother of three had to get her vaccine, and according to the Mirror, its thought that she did not have the virus.
But Prince Louis’s mother had to miss some events that week because of it. But shes no longer alone and went back to Wimbledon for the women’s final, which won by Ashleigh Barty, who used to number one but has since quit.
Kate also back at the club the next day for the men’s final, which won for the third year in a row by Novak Djokovic.
This summer, the best tennis players in the world have once again come to southwest London to try to win the Championships.
Kate recently gave tennis a try when she competed against the famous Roger Federer. During a royal visit to the famous court, the princess beat the eight-time winner. The Swiss ace so amazed by the royal’s winning shot that he couldn’t help but exclaim, “Amazing!”
