Karachi’s Arts Council of Pakistan hosted “An Evening with Mahira Khan”. The renowned poet and dramatist Anwar Maqsood hosted the event.
The Bol actress and Maqsood participated in a deep and funny discourse about politics. She also talked about The Tale of Maula Jatt, and the significance of financial freedom for women in Pakistan. The session was held throughout the evening.
Maqsood began the debate on a humorous note by stating, “I have written several plays for television performers, but none for Mahira. Since I ceased writing, Mahira’s fame has grown.”
The beautiful actress, clad in a simple yet magnificent golden Saari, began her chat by detailing her journey in the industry.
Since childhood, I had desired to become an actress.
