Webdesk: Microsoft Corp MSFT.O on Monday incorporated the ChatGPT technology with its Power Platform, which enables users to construct applications with minimal or no coding. This represents the company’s most recent use of artificial intelligence into its products.
Major tech companies such as Alphabet Inc (GOOGL.O) and Baidu Inc (9888.HK) are accelerating the incorporation of generative AI, a technology that has gained prominence for its capacity to generate human-like text responses to inquiries, into their offerings.
Microsoft stated that a series of business intelligence and app development tools under Power Platform, such as Power Virtual Agent and AI Builder, have been enhanced with the new features.
Power Virtual Agent, a solution for organisations to create chatbots, can now integrate with internal company resources to deliver weekly report summaries and consumer inquiries.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has added generative AI capabilities to AI Builder, which allows businesses to automate workflows, and launched a new edition of its business management platform Dynamics 365 based on the technology.
The most recent edition of Microsoft’s tool for sales, customer service, and marketing, Dynamics 365 Copilot, uses artificial intelligence to automate operations such as data collection and analysis, as well as email campaign creation.
Microsoft also announced on Monday that CEO Satya Nadella will host a March 16 event titled “reinventing productivity with AI.”
The corporation has unveiled AI improvements for its widely used Windows operating system and Bing search engine, but not for its Office productivity suite, which includes Word and Excel.
