Lahore: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the administration has not decided to house arrest PTI Chairman.
Khan’s party has been experiencing the state’s might after his outraged employees attacked military buildings, notably the Lahore Corps Commanders House and the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, following his detention in a corruption case on May 9—a day the army called “Black Day.”
Moreover, After allegations that Khan’s Zaman Park home in Lahore could be turned into a sub-jail and put under house arrest, the temporary chief minister spoke at a press conference.
The PTI alleges mistreatment of their female supporters among the thousands of workers arrested during the May 9 unrest.
While, PTI Chairman Khan called on the Supreme Court to take a suo motu notice of the alleged mistreatment of his female staffers in prison.
The chief minister denied them.
Women were treated legally. “PTI is promoting prisoner mistreatment of women,” the chief minister remarked.
CM Naqvi stated 32 women were arrested and just 11 are in jail. The top provincial official noted that “mothers and sisters remain safe” is his government’s responsibility.
“May 9 was unprecedented,” he remarked.
The chief minister said the government would act regardless of the accused Jinnah House terrorists’ influence.
CM Naqvi said that PTI supporter Khadija Shah was in police custody and having her identity parade.
Shah apologised for her “actions” on May 9 in a viral video on Sunday.
