Webdesk: The army’s media arm said on Friday that a soldier martyred while fighting terrorists in the Mir Ali area. That is an area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district. The area is near the town of Mir Ali.
The ISPR said in a press release that Sepoy Irsha Ullah, who was 29 years old, died in the battle. “Own troops fought bravely and effectively at the terrorists’ location,” the statement said.
The ISPR also said that the area was being “cleaned up”. It was to get rid of any terrorists who might be there.
It said, “Pakistan’s security forces determined to get rid of the threat of terrorism, and the bravery of our soldiers makes us even more determined.”
