Islamabad: The Deputy Interior Minister of Saudi Arabia, Dr Nasir Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Dawood, landed in Pakistan. It hhapened on yesterday and he is here for a two-day official trip.
The high-ranking Saudi officials expected to complete and sign a deal about the “Road to Makkah” project.
This project supposed to be a big step forward in making the immigration process easier. As well as more streamlined for pilgrims, making sure they have a smooth and easy time.
In addition to the signing ceremony, the Saudi deputy interior minister is due to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir, the federal minister for narcotics control, and others.
When the important person arrived at the Nur Khan Airbase, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah gave him a warm welcome.
Under the Road to Makkah plan, nearly 40,000 people who want to go on pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia will leave from Islamabad airport this year.
Under the Road to Makkah project, all of the travellers’ immigration needs will be taken care of at the Islamabad Airport.
This saves tourists several hours because they don’t have to go through immigration when they get to the kingdom. Instead, they can just walk in because they did that at home.
