LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has come up with an idea for bilateral ODIs and a three-nation series before the World Cup this fall.
Sources say that the cricket governing body has begun calling Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, and South Africa to invite them to play bilateral or tri-nation series in Pakistan in August.
IN AN EMAIL, the PCB told all four cricket boards that the series give the visiting teams a chance to get used to the weather in the subcontinent before the World Cup.
Before the World Cup, the PCB wants its players to play three to five ODIs.

During a meeting with the media at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), he stressed the value of getting better in every area and playing more games to reach the goals. He agreed that it was the PCB’s job to set up more matches, and he said he had faith in their efforts to make it happen.
The specialized camp going on at the NCA also talked about. He said it was a great chance for the players to get better at what they do. The camp mostly about spinners, and Bradburn talked about how important its to help skilled spinners grow and give batters the chance to face them.
Bradburn said that Abid Ali a good player with a good Test average when he asked about him at the camp. He said that Abid looked healthy and was optimistic about his possible comeback.
When asked about leg-spinner Yasir Shah, Bradburn said that hes still in their plans and could make a comeback.
