Quetta: The prime minister Shehbaz Sharif said that different parts of the country hit by terrorism in the past. For example, terrorists had attacked GHQ and Army Public School.
He said that military and law enforcement chose to get rid of the problem with the help of the people.
He also said that in that fight, members of the military and law enforcement, as well as people from all walks of life, made huge sacrifices so that terrorists could destroyed for good.
The prime minister said that the whole country proud of those who bravely stood up to terrorists and made sacrifices.
He also said that they stopped the bad plans of the enemies who wanted to destroy the country.
Government should take steps to stop things like what happened on May 9: PM
Referring to the events of May 9, the prime minister said that a Pakistani couldn’t think that way, but that the way an enemy of the country thought.
He said that on that day, the Lahore Corps Commander House (also called Jinnah House) set on fire, just like the Quaid’s Residency in Ziarat had set on fire by terrorists.
The prime minister said that they should do what they can under the law and the constitution to make sure that this doesn’t happen again.
He said that May 9 would always be known as the worst day in the history of the country, and that the things that happened on that day were very bad. He was sad that the bad people also destroyed memorials to people who died for their country.
PM Shehbaz also said that with the help of the whole country, they would rebuild all parts of Pakistan.
