Lahore: Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that Pakistan met “all” of the IMF preconditions to revive its stalled bailout program. He added that “no hurdle now left” in signing a staff-level agreement with the fund.
“If the agreement with the IMF is [further] delayed, then I will address you,” PM Shehbaz remarked at the Sabzazar Sports Complex opening in Lahore.
While, The premier stated, “No need to panic.” Allah will protect Pakistan. The premier hoped for an IMF-government stall-level deal this month.
PM noted that political stability affects economic stability. He promised economic stability under PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.
Moreover, PM Shehbaz blamed previous prime minister Imran Khan for the May 9 mayhem. He threatened to bring all those responsible for the violent protests and attacks on civic and military installations to justice.
