Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) Chief Organiser and Punjab President Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that the party will not join forces with any other political party and will run in the upcoming elections on its own.

Sarwar told the media at the Pakistan Muslim League House in Sialkot, where Advocate Dr. Shakil Akhtar joined the PML-Q, that the party will run for office without joining forces with any other political group.

The PML-Q’s chief organiser said, “We are ready to run as an independent party in the general elections. We have not yet joined forces with any other political party. We’ll get more seats than we did in the last election.”

He said that the party would get a big majority in the next election if the party did this. He is optimistic to win more seats.

Sarwar said at the time that bad government and corruption are the main reasons of country’s worst economy.

He also said that these two things are the worst problems in society. As well as the biggest obstacles to the country’s progress.

At the moment, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain is in charge of the PML-Q, which is part of the Pakistan Democratic Alliance (PDM), which is the government. The different parties have not yet decided whether they will run together or on their own in the next election.

The alliance was made to fight the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). In April 2022, a no-confidence motion was used to get rid of the Imran Khan government.

Since then, the coalition government in the Centre has been led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
