LONDON: On May 6, Prince Harry will go to his father’s coronation as King Charles III. His wife Meghan and their children will stay in the US, Buckingham Palace said on Wednesday.
Buckingham Palace said, “The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6.”
The statement also said that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will stay in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Harry and Meghan quickly moved away from their family after their wedding at Windsor Castle in 2018. They first moved to Canada and then to California. They quit their jobs at the palace in January 2020 and went to the United States.
Last year, the couple talked about how Markle was treated badly in Buckingham Palace. They did this on US TV.
After his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, died in September, Charles III became king.
