Webdesk: The Duke of Sussex’s scathing book, Spare, released in January seems to have exacerbated Prince Harry and Prince William’s royal feud.
Harry described their rocky relationship and a fight over Meghan Markle in which his older brother punched him.
The two brothers didn’t speak at King Charles’ coronation, severely straining their relationship. Princes of Wales’ close pals say he hates his younger brother and won’t forgive him.
One royal family member can ease Harry and William’s concerns, despite the dire situation.
An insider told the Mail on Sunday that Princess Anne “has always had a soft spot for Harry and they both have a wicked sense of humour.”
At the Coronation of King Charles, only the Princess Royal spoke to Harry.
“People talk about Prince Andrew being the Spare but Anne was the second-born, too, and particularly since Diana died has always felt a duty to support her nephew,” the insider added. “Anne and Harry share a great sense of humour and more than it seems.”
A Royal Family friend suggested Prince Harry meet with Anne, remarking that she was a “spare” like him.
She was second to [Charles] and booted lower down the line of succession as a woman, but she carved her own path’, a Telegraph insider said. “In her twenties she was bolshy and upset about many things, but she came through that.”
Harry “should talk to her about her experiences,” the source advised. Shrewd, she could tell him a lot about what she went through.”
