Lahore: On Wednesday, a new recording of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Yasmin Rashid and Brigadier (ret.) Ijaz Ahmad Shah talking about the ongoing police operation in Zaman Park leaked online.
The audio was leaked after police went to Imran Khan’s home in Zaman Park to arrest him in the Toshakhana case, which is the only one in which his arrest warrants have not been stayed.
During the phone call, Rashid could be heard telling the former interior minister to tell party workers to go to Zaman Park or they won’t get a party ticket.
At this point, Shah says that he is telling the people who work for the party.
Here is a transcript of the call:
Yasmin: “Right now, Khan sahab told me to call all the MNAs and MPAs…”
Ijaz: “We’re doing it, and so am I.”
Yasmin: “He’s telling them that they should go with men. Tell them that no one will be given a ticket if they don’t show up. Khan sahab has said this himself.”
Moreover, The confirmation of Yasmin Rashid
Rashid said that the audio leak was not controversial when he checked to see if it was real.
“I’m the leader of the party; shouldn’t I call on my people?” she asked.
