LAHORE: Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that Imran Khan has steered his political rivalry to extreme. It is now on a point where “either we will maintain our existence or he”. Fearing that the PTI chairman could lead the nation and the country to tragedy.

The minister, a prominent leader of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, called the ex-PM “incorrigible” and “incurable”. He claimed there wont be peace till Mr. Khan was in politics.

He also stated that if his party eliminated from politics, they would do whatever to save themselves. Regardless of whether their actions were democratic or undemocratic, principled or unprincipled.

“Either he or we will be eliminated from politics. The interior minister accused Imran Khan for the country’s instability. He informed the interviewer they considered him (Imran) a political adversary, but the PTI chairman considered them arch-enemies.

Mr Khan “even blamed me, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and an army officer for plotting to kill him”. Mr Sanaullah added, fearing that the PTI chief’s story was building bad blood among both parties’ supporters and that either he or they may be killed by each other’s supporters.

The minister said Mr. Khan planned to recruit retired judges of the subordinate judiciary. They will work as presiding officers of special courts. Such as anti-narcotics tribunals to hand down “capital punishment or life term to political rivals” when he was in power.

The PML-N leader further recalled that Mr Khan and previous army head Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa disagreed on “eliminating the then opposition” by any means.

He replied that Mr. Khan had been trying to “set fire to the country” for 11 months. But the coalition government had always exercised restraint to avoid escalation.

Maryam Aurangzeb Presser

In a press conference, fiery PML-N leader and information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb criticized Mr. Khan for unveiling a 10-point agenda. She said showed Khan’s party’s failure during its 10-year control in KP and four-year rule in Punjab and the centre.

The PML-N leader said Mr Khan’s sole problem was “psychological” and that he would make up a new story to distract people from his prior lies.

According to Maryam Aurangzeb, The PTI chief wants to get “selected” again to avoid punishment for party funding, Toshakhana gifts, and Tyrian Khan.

She said, “Imran Khan be be slapped 10 times for giving a 10-point plan. Not a single of which he could implement during his (party’s) 10-year rule in KP and four-year rule both in Islamabad and Punjab.”

She asked if Mr. Khan meant to enhance the national economy like he had improved his spouse’s and her friend Farhat Shehzadi’s finances.

The minister said the PTI chief fulfilled his promise to the nation by creating “five million houses for his spouse,” who got Rs5 billion “bribe” from Al-Qadir Trust.

She claimed the former premier utilized private jets to launder the loot. Maryam said the restricted funding case judgement could have stopped money laundering.

She stated Mr. Khan’s 10m job promise left over 10 million Pakistanis unemployed.

Ms. Aurangzeb claimed former chief justice Saqib Nisar’s tone towards PML-N chief organiser Maryam Nawaz Sharif reflected his upbringing when asked about the leaked audio recording.

The minister said the country’s economy was not a machine and would take time to restore after the PTI government’s economic destruction.

She said Mr. Khan had tried to exploit his shattered leg, old age, and threats to his life to avoid appearing in court in proceedings against him, but he could attend the public meeting at Minar-i-Pakistan.

She said the PTI chief exhausted all other options and raised the issue of a “threat to his life” for not appearing in court in proceedings against him.
