Ms. Aurangzeb claimed former chief justice Saqib Nisar’s tone towards PML-N chief organiser Maryam Nawaz Sharif reflected his upbringing when asked about the leaked audio recording.
The minister said the country’s economy was not a machine and would take time to restore after the PTI government’s economic destruction.
She said Mr. Khan had tried to exploit his shattered leg, old age, and threats to his life to avoid appearing in court in proceedings against him, but he could attend the public meeting at Minar-i-Pakistan.
