Webdesk: Shahid Kapoor recently talked about how he feels about going to Hollywood and said that he doesn’t think it’s right.
Shahid said, “I’ve worked here for 20 years, so I love my family and I love our movies. I’m very happy to be here. Despite this, I’m here to do good work.
In an interview with News 18, the star of Farzi said he would rather work on a Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam movie than a Hollywood one.
“So, on the one hand, you say Hollywood, and on the other, I’ll say the opposite. If someone offers me a Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam movie and I think there’s a great part to play and it will make me happy as an actor, I’ll go do it.
“I don’t want to say that that should be a goal and that this shouldn’t be a goal. I don’t agree with that. If you’re looking for quality and talent, I wouldn’t go to Hollywood and do trash. “I wouldn’t want to do that.”
Shahid said, “My break in Hollywood is coming to an end… kuch bhi kar lo… Nahi! Something has to come from the inside. Language shouldn’t stop you from doing something if it makes you feel inspired, excited, and pushed.
“However, language is a real thing. Some people are good at changing things, while others aren’t. That’s not an easy thing to do. So, you also have to be honest with yourself about all of these things.”
“If I had the chance, I would go anywhere. Give me something interesting. I just did OTT. I don’t care,” said the character from the Chup Chup Ke movie.
After Farzi, Shahid Kapoor is excited about his next OTT movie, Bloody Daddy.
