Webdesk: Linda Hamilton will join the group of the last episode of Stranger Things’s last season.
The news was shared at Netflix’s yearly fan event, Tudum.
But the creators haven’t said what part the US actor will play because they don’t want to give anything away.
The 66-year-old actress is well-known for her roles in the Terminator films. She also starred in films like Children of the Corn and the TV show Beauty and the Beast, for which she was nominated for an Emmy and two Golden Globes.
Strangely, Hamilton is the most recent actor from the famous 1980s to join the cast of Stranger Things. Some of the others were Winona Ryder, Matthew Modine, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser, Cary Elwes, and Robert Englund.
In February of last year, the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, said that the hit sci-fi show would end after the fifth season.
But the people who made Stranger Things want to make the Upside Down world bigger. They are working on a new animation show and a live-action spinoff.
