Webdesk: Fans thought Taylor Swift’s devastating Eras Tour performance conveyed a message to ex Joe Alwyn to return.
According to concertgoers, the Anti-Hero hitmaker seemed really down when she sat at her piano to sing False God at MetLife stadium on Saturday.
The singer seemed unhappy in a TikTok video of her playing the piano and singing her 2019 single.
Taylor fans remarked that she did not introduce the song before her performance, which is her typical practise.
A fan commented on the TikTok video that she must miss her actor boyfriend while dating controversial musician Matty Healy.
They said Taylor seemed “so emotional” and “teared up” after concluding the song, suggesting it was a secret message for Joe.
“Taylor and Joe aren’t over.” “I think this is her telling him… begging him to see her,” one commenter wrote.
“I’ve never heard her sound so sad,” said one. “This hurts my heart.” I want her happy. Even if she’s improving, the songs will hurt.”
One user said, “The song doesn’t sound it, but you can see the pain in her eyes.”
“I was there she was kinda crying for most of the show tbh,” a concertgoer tweeted, confirming her fans’ sentiments.
Champagne Problems. “But false god felt particularly melancholy,” the statement said.
