US warplanes targeted a factory in Bani Matar near Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, killing five people and injuring 13, according to the Houthi-led group Ansar Allah.
The group’s spokesperson confirmed the strike and reported additional bombings in the provinces of Saada and Hodeidah.
The US began airstrikes on March 15 to deter Houthi attacks on international shipping routes. The Houthis claim their actions are in solidarity with Palestinians amid ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza.
