Webdesk: The parent company of WhatsApp, Meta, has revealed the newest update to the app’s group chats and privacy settings.
The firm released a variety of tools to assist administrators in managing groups. Its still-new feature, Communities, particularly in terms of which members join the group.
In the forthcoming update, administrators will have greater privacy control. Over who joins their groups via invite links and in open Communities. In addition, group members may now view the groups they share with their contact lists.
Users may easily search for a friend’s name in their contact list to determine which groups they share.
According to Meta, the new tools will begin rolling out globally in the coming weeks, with the platform promising to make group talks the ‘best experience’ for both users and administrators.
