Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department said that Karachi will have a cool Sunday because the weather will stay partly cloudy and it will rain in the next 24 hours.
The people in charge of predicting the weather say that it is likely to drizzle in the morning and at night, and the lowest temperature will be 26.5°C. The highest temperature could reach 32°C.
“The current humidity level in the city’s air is 66%, and winds are coming from the southwest at a speed of 14 kilometres per hour,” the PMD said.
In its report on the weather for Sunday and Monday, the Met Office said that most parts of the province would have hot and muggy weather. “However, light rain and/or drizzle is likely in coastal areas,” it said.
While, On Monday, the temperature in Karachi will be between 30°C and 32°C.
The PMD’s prediction also said that the upper parts of the country affected by a wave coming from the west. “Monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea are penetrating in the upper parts.”
Moreover, Met Office forecasts that it will rain with wind and thundershowers in Potohar, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, and Kashmir today (Sunday) and on Monday.
“Hot and humid weather expected elsewhere in the country,” the PMD said.
