Webdesk: When they went to check on a report in Golden Gate Park at Fulton Street and 22nd Avenue on Sunday, San Francisco police found the body of a woman in a big duffle bag.
The body found around 7:24 p.m. near the Outside Lands show. Which had been going on for three days and ending on Sunday evening.
NBC says that the medical examiner’s office and murder detectives also came to look into the body near the Stow Lake boathouse.
Officer Kevin Gil, at the scene, said that a local man named Drew found the bag while walking his dog. He found it in a bushy area that the police later taped off as a crime scene.
He said that the place police had blocked off a small clearing where there used to be two yellow Adirondack chairs and that the area was safe.
People leaving the Outside Lands concert and people living on Fulton Street looked over to see whats going on as police used flashlights to search the area.
