A delegation of U.S. Congress members termed their recent visit to Pakistan a pivotal step towards strengthening bilateral ties, emphasizing long-term collaboration in key sectors.
Congressman Jack Bergman highlighted the strategic importance of U.S.-Pakistan relations, especially in the mineral and industrial sectors. “Our cooperation can lay the foundation for robust industries that benefit not only our nations but the global economy,” he stated.
He added, “New mining techniques and innovative products are essential for our future productivity. Our partnership is rooted in a mutual belief in freedom and progress.”
Congressman Thomas Suozzi appreciated Pakistani hospitality, stating that the Pakistani diaspora in the U.S. plays a vital ambassadorial role. “Pakistanis are hardworking, well-educated, and deeply rooted in family values.”
Congressman Jonathan Luther Jackson expressed optimism about Pakistan’s future, citing firsthand experiences of unity and discipline during his visit. “There’s a golden opportunity to deepen trust and expand collaboration.”
He also visited religious sites, calling the experience spiritually uplifting, and voiced his commitment to enhancing bilateral success.
