ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Tuesday that the budget 2023-24 would prioritise economic development and mass alleviation.
“The federal budget will also encompass the measures to enhance industrial growth and exports.” said PM
PM Shehbaz promised to personally include industrial sector suggestions in the budget.
He ordered the government to remove all barriers to small, medium, and large-scale industrial output.
The premier accused the previous PTI-led administration of purposely obstructing investment and industrial development.
“While, The previous government violated the IMF agreement to save its rule, hurting 220 million Pakistanis.”
“Moreover, Being resilient, Pakistanis are gradually coming out of the economic difficulties,” he continued.
He added that the government, nation, industrialists, and business community were cooperating to enhance the economy.
Moreover, Country faced damage because of long or short” marches and sit-ins last year.
He told the gathering that May 9 caused riots and tremendous economic losses.
Moreover, Shehbaz Sharif said the government would provide low-cost energy and simple bank loans for small enterprises to lower manufacturing costs.
While, He ordered his adviser Ahad Cheema to prepare industry plans and include them in the budget.
Moreover, PM ordered the authorities to study the proposals and report to him.
